Privacy Policy

Auslandscape is a platform where Australian homeowners and landscapers design outdoor spaces together in 3D. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Information we collect

Account information — your name and email address from Google sign-in.
Your content — the projects, 3D designs, briefs, messages, decisions and work/plan/money records you create, and any reference photos or files you upload.
Usage & device data — basic technical information needed to run the app (e.g. app version, device type, error logs).

How we use it

To provide the design workspace and connect homeowners with landscapers.
To power features you request, including AI design advice (which processes your project context to generate suggestions).
To maintain security, prevent misuse, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

When you invite a landscaper to a project, your design and brief are shared with them so they can advise and quote.
We use trusted service providers to operate the platform: Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting) and Google Cloud (hosting/AI processing), primarily in the Australian region. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention & deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account). This removes your account and profile. Project records you shared with others may persist for those users; contact us at admin@auslandscape.com.au for any further deletion request.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is enforced by server-side security rules so users can only reach data they are entitled to.

Children

Auslandscape is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change. Material changes will be surfaced in the app.
